Job Summary: As a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering vital NHS community mental health services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments
* Administer medications and monitor their effects
* Provide therapeutic interventions, including counseling and behavioral therapies
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement personalized care plans
* Offer emotional support and education to patients and their families to promote mental wellness and recovery
Requirements:
* Current and valid NMC registration
* Proven experience in a community recovery role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
* Previous experience in CMHT or Home Treatment Teams
Working Hours and Contract Duration: This role requires Monday to Friday availability, with long days.
