Job Title: Band 6 Quality Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Quality Nurse to join our dynamic SACT Outreach Team at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the Senior Sister and work collaboratively with other colleagues within the SACT services.
  • Take responsibility for the coordination of Closer to Home clinics, including patient care and skill mix.
  • Develop and support nursing staff in the absence of the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse.
  • Support the management of the service, including delivery of SACT and patient care, as well as the development and support of junior staff.
  • Provide a supportive environment to enable others to develop excellent skills and knowledge within this field.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Good communication skills and ability to deliver high-quality care.
  • Qualification in Adult Nursing and experience in SACT.
  • Computer literacy and understanding of evidence-based practice.
  • Ability to demonstrate the organisational values and behaviours.
