Description
Designing and implementing cost-effective equipment modifications to improve safety, reliability and efficiency.
Developing project specifications with colleagues, often including those from other engineering disciplines.
Assessing the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering evaluation tests, products or equipment.
Ensuring a product can be made reliably and will perform consistently in specified operating environments.
Managing projects using engineering principles and techniques.
Identifying and implementing improvements to current manufacturing processes.
Coordinating with other engineers, management, and the creative department.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.Profile
A successful Mechanical Production Engineer should have:
HND or above in a Mechanical Engineering related discipline
Proven track record within a Production Engineer role
Experience of developing manufacturing processes and improving capability.
Experience of Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing methodologies i.e., Kaizen, 5S, FMEA, etc
A working understanding of New Product Introduction methodology.
Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Ability to use AutoCAD.Job Offer
