The successful candidate will be a key player in the day-to-day operations of the finance function across our client's business group.

* Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 (One hour lunch) or 09:00 to 17:00 (Half hour lunch)

The Role:

As an Accounts Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

* Upholding the company’s vision and values when dealing with staff, customers, and third parties

* Inputting accounts on SUN

* Handling internet banking, including payouts, pull ins, Worldpay, and banking

* Providing support to the Operational Finance Team Supervisor (OFTS), Finance Manager (FM), Head of Finance (HF), and CFO

* Managing purchase ledger and ledger reconciliations

* Creating sales invoices on the sales ledger

* Producing reports

* Undertaking any ad hoc tasks as advised by the OFTS, FM, or HF

Communicating effectively with the rest of the business regarding all finance-related matters

The Candidate:

The ideal Accounts Assistant will have:

* Excellent communication skills

* The ability to meet annual objectives set by the FM

* The ability to meet reporting deadlines both internal and external on the appropriate periodic basis

* Experience with a purchase ledger or within a finance environment (preferred)

The Package:

The Accounts Assistant role comes with an annual salary of £25,000. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a supportive and dynamic team, gaining invaluable experience within the finance sector.
