Recruitment Solutions are currently working with one of the UK's leading specialist recycling companies. Due to continued growth within the business, we are looking for an Office & Transport Administrator. Although, any candidates with experience with entry level finance duties would be ideal (i.e. PO's, SAP knowledge, invoicing support etc.)
Please note that this role will require to you work two separate duties a) as a general office admin b) as a transport admin. This role is solely office based. Your time will be structured and agreed on a daily/weekly basis between the Office & Transport Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Office admin duties
* Updating and recording holiday requests
* Entering weekly agency time sheets
* Raising PO's for various departments
* Monitoring stock room levels
* Handle telephone/email queries
* Assist with daily office operations as required
* Maintain an up to date filing system
Transport admin duties:
* Updating weekly transport and despatch schedules in MS Excel
* Liaison with existing customers to manage transport bookings & requirements
* Liaison with in house transport fleet and 3rd party providers
* Managing and tracking all fleet, 3rd party & fuel costs
* Participate in transport spend tracking and internal reporting
* Assist with daily transport team and office operations as required
Candidate Expectations:
* 2-year minimum experience within an office environment
* Experience within an accounts office is advantageous
* MS packages experience (mainly Excel, Outlook & Word)
* Able to display effective communication both orally and in writing, whilst possessing an excellent telephone manner
* Ability to multi-task, work on own initiative with minimal supervision and have a conscientious and thorough approach to work
* Ability to prioritise, manage time and resources
* Flexible approach to work and display willingness to undertake varied responsibilities, working alone or part of a team
* Punctual, polite, professional and courteous at all times
Working Days, Hours & Salary:
* Monday - Friday
* 8am - 5pm
* £26-26k p/annum (DOE)
