Horley, United Kingdom Better Days Recruitment Ltd Full time

Great position working for an energy and data organisation located in Surrey for a Platform Support Analyst.

The role is a twelve-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, however the company is growing and for the right candidate, there may be permanent opportunities elsewhere within the business after this position.

You will be based within a smaller, friendly team but also very much part of a larger Project Team. The main purpose of the role is to provide administration and customer after care support once a customer contract has been put into place.

The customers are commercial business, so the contracts can be very detailed, quite complex and bespoke to each customer. All customers will have access to an on-line platform customer portal and this role is to assist the customers with queries and technical issues that may arise from the platform.

The queries will mainly be from an email and could be quite basic to complex queries that would require more of a technical fix. It is the Platform Support Analysts job to solve the queries, communicating with the customer until the problem is solved.

Then liaise with the relevant internal department to ensure they can ‘fix’ the problem on a technical level.

You will be a strong administrator, be organised with excellent customer service skills, enjoys talking to customers and likes problem solving. A lot of the wok is completed on Excel and is numerical, a good eye for and enjoy working with numbers would be required. Full training will be provided around the Industry and the systems.

Please note: you would be required to attend the office every day while the training is being completed which can take up to around three months.

A hybrid way of working is then on offer of two days in the office and three days working from home.

Positive, supportive working environment and excellent training on offer. A short walk from a train station and there is plenty of local parking available.
