About the role:

We are seeking a dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join our Cheshunt school on a part-time basis, starting ASAP. This position is a new addition to the team, designed to support targeted interventions and boosters for students, especially those with special educational needs. The role involves working closely with a diverse group of young learners, providing tailored support to enhance their educational experience.

The recruitment process includes a face-to-face interview and a trial day. Early applications are encouraged to ensure a smooth selection process. The successful candidate will contribute to a supportive school culture that values respect, inclusion, and collaboration, fostering a positive learning environment for both students and staff.

Application Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

• Passionate about supporting young learners and enhancing their educational experience.

• Experience or qualification in Special Educational Needs (SEN) is preferred.

• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with delivering tailored interventions and boosters to enhance student learning.

• Support children’s individual educational needs in a classroom setting.

• Collaborate with teachers to develop effective strategies for student support.

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and reports to teachers and parents as needed.
