About the role:

We’re looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team in September 2024, focusing on catch-up programs for students who may need extra support. This is a fantastic part-time opportunity for someone who wants to make a tangible difference in the lives of young learners.

You’ll be working closely with teachers to deliver targeted interventions, helping to bridge learning gaps and ensure every student reaches their full potential. Whether you have experience in similar roles or are looking to take the next step in your career, this role offers an exciting opportunity to grow and develop within a supportive school environment.

Application Requirements:

• A passion for working with children and a commitment to their education and well-being.

• Experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils, particularly in booster and intervention settings.

• A good understanding of the national curriculum and the ability to support students in their learning.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for Key Stage 2 students.

• Provide targeted support and interventions to help students catch up on their learning.

• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students, adapting your approach to meet individual needs.

• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to planning and assessment.
