Weetabix and Kinetic recruitment services are working in partnership to recruit a Quality Assurance Officer for their site based in Ashton-Under-Lyne on a contract basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate with the earning potential being high

This role is Monday to Friday 7am-3pm but can be flexible
The rate of pay is £15 per hour.

As the Quality Assurance Officer you will be Primarily carrying out quality control checks for all incoming materials- ingredients and packaging through electronic systems and paperwork checks.

Supporting the Quality, Hygiene and Compliance Team and Site as required as follows:-
- Audit and maintain all records in the business to comply with all standards, specifications, food safety and legal requirements.
- Support day to day quality activities and actions
- Conduct product, packaging, and quality checks to ensure products meets right first-time requirements.
- Supporting incidents effectively and efficiently to find the root cause and support and drive close out of actions.
- Conduct range internal audits - hygiene, housekeeping, etc.
- Monthly water sampling
- Assisting with external site audits
- Daily hygiene and paperwork checks
- Collecting samples for the Lab and organising delivery.
- Plant Swabbing
- Support training and coaching of teams
- Support projects as required.
