Job Title: Senior Construction Legal Counsel

Location: Leicestershire - hybrid working

Salary: up to £90k plus benefits including car allowance, bonus, private medical and enhanced policies.

Our client, a leading organisation within the construction industry, is seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Construction Legal Counsel to join their Legal and Compliance team based in Leicestershire. As a key member of the team, you will play a fundamental role in shaping the future success of the Group Legal function.

Responsibilities:

Manage a broad spectrum of work, including the drafting, advising and negotiating legal agreements, specifically property and construction.
Offer advice on construction matters which may include litigation, such as; terminations, pay less notices, and adjudications, and oversee external lawyer's input as needed.
Collaborate with Senior Lawyers on complex and strategic projects.
Providing guidance and advice to the business on legal matters.Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor with demonstrable construction experience.
Proactive individual with the ability to cultivate relationships across the business.
Commercially minded and able to balance risk with business objectives.
In-house experience is helpful but not mandatory.
Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. This is a fantastic time to join the organisation as they are due to go through a significant growth period.
