🔍 The Role:

As a Weight Management Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in setting and delivering whole vehicle weight targets. Your engineering expertise, knowledge of lightweight technology trends, and exceptional attention to detail will contribute to the achievement of product targets. You will work cross-functionally with stakeholders throughout the organisation, collaborating with them every step of the way. Your ability to constructively challenge and influence engineering departments will be essential in delivering targets.

🌟 What You'll Bring:

To excel in this role, you'll need to have:

Experience building strong collaborative and influential relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
Good knowledge of CAD and Bill of Materials/spec configuration systems
A strong understanding of lightweight technologies and technology trends
Strong MS Office skills, including Macro writing
Demonstrable knowledge of weight certification requirements for European and global markets🤝 What You'll Do:

Your responsibilities will include:

Setting and delivering whole vehicle weight targets utilising your engineering knowledge and lightweight technology trends
Managing your own project-related activities and presenting reports to senior management
Planning and managing programmes, leading weight reduction work-streams, and ensuring weight targets are met
Calculating vehicle weight and mass properties using various methods and data sources
Contributing to the calculation of certification weights for cross-functional agreements based on multiple data sources and legislation
