We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Systems Engineer to work with one of our prestigious vehicle manufacturers. For you to be successful in this position you will be responsible for the below, but not limited to:


Responsibilities:

Responsible for updating, integrating, and ensuring compatibility of the new vehicle project into production control systems.

Ensuring Production Alignments to System Version List

Responsible for VIN, SEFI, certification plates, paint codes & weights data

Ensuring all are updated in VW group system IFA

Responsible for maintaining the Vehicle Manifest / Delta42 - Future BEV required Production systems

Analyse Production errors and accurately report findings

Escalation of high priority production errors as appropriate

Baseline importing, comparison, validation checking and vehicle alignment

Baseline - ASP creation, running checks, analyse errors, failure feedback to R&D

Create exhaustion lists for use up changes

Create EZU/ZDC permitted deviations

Create and update Production configuration files

Create GIT validation sheet

Create GIT donor UPS specification

Create and implement Production escalation sheets

Sign-off and log relevant permits

Compile and release Production ASV release to line and test MFTD's

Attend and represent all applicable meetings

Cut and Manifest System Updates

DC Tooling updates


Requirements:

  • Qualified in Manufacturing Engineering or Equivalent
  • Experience within the Automotive Vehicle Manufacturing Industry
  • Previous proven experience in a similar position
  • Knowledge of VW Group Systems (Preferable)
  • Experienced working in a vehicle production environment, processes and systems
  • Highly experienced in delivering Production Control Projects
  • Working in a busy fast paced environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experienced in using reporting
  • Good communication skills, teamworking abilities and initiative
  • Adhering to all Company standard operating procedures
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures in the Workshop
  • Working according to the company quality and housekeeping standards
  • Clean UK/ or equivalent Driving Licence
  • RTW in the UK without restrictions (PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT OFFER SPONSORSHIP)
