If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our vibrant and nurturing school community as an SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs As an SEN TA specialising in SEMH needs, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students who require emotional and behavioral assistance to reach their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include working closely with teachers to develop and implement individualised learning plans, providing one-on-one support to students, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. You will be an integral part of our team, helping to ensure that all our pupils feel valued, understood, and capable of achieving their best.

Application Requirements:

• Experience working with children with SEMH needs.

• A strong understanding of strategies to support emotional and behavioural needs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach.

• Relevant qualifications or certifications in Special Educational Needs (preferred but not essential).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted support to students with SEMH needs, both in and out of the classroom.

• Work collaboratively with teachers to create and implement effective support plans.

• Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported.

• Assist in the development of social skills and emotional regulation strategies.

• Monitor and report on student progress, adjusting support as needed.
