Job Role: Credit Controller

Location: East London

Job Type: Contract (option for temp to perm)

Duration: 4 months rolling contract

Rate: £25-£26/hour Umbrella DOE

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a knack for managing accounts? We are seeking a Credit Controller to oversee invoicing, student fees, loans, and other income streams, ensuring effective student debt management.

Credit Controller Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the collection of student fees, including loan processing and refunds.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain cashbook entries.
Provide first-line support for student fee and payment queries.
Liaise with various college departments to ensure accurate student fee data and effective debt management.
Prepare and deliver financial reports for management.
Supervise and mentor Finance Assistants, ensuring smooth operation of financial tasks.
Some travel may be required to other campuses in order to effectively support students, with this being across London.

Skills & Qualifications:

Excellent communication and Excel skills.
Experience with financial reporting systems, especially for student debt and loans.
Ability to work effectively in a team, with a strong commitment to equality and diversity.
