🏢 Our client, a leading automotive company based in Crewe, is looking for a talented Automotive Packaging Engineer to join their team on a temporary basis for a 6-month contract. Located just a short 18-minute walk from nearby parking facilities, you'll be situated in the heart of the automotive hub. 📍

🔹 As an Automotive Packaging Engineer, you'll play a vital role in understanding the part context within the whole vehicle design. With your expertise in Catia v5 and LCA, you will support our client's R&D functions during the complete series geometry maturation phase. 💪

🔸 Zonal work will be a key aspect, covering various areas of the vehicle such as front, underfloor, rear, sides, upper, and interior. While the specific zones are negotiable, experience in multiple zones is essential. 🛠️

✨ Your fundamental responsibility will be running weekly, cross-functional Package Reviews, managing an Issues Tracker, and ensuring timely issue resolution. Liaising with Bentley R&D Functions, you will help establish feasible and cost-effective package and system solutions. 📈

📋 Additional tasks will include raising KPM's for unresolved issues, collating reports and KPIs, creating presentations, and acting as a point of contact within the Contextual Design team for packaging issues. All while working closely with cross-functional groups and resolving problems in a collaborative manner. 🤝

🔹 To excel in this role, you must be skilled at loading parts in context within the Vehicle, configuring and filtering live CAD data, and performing analyses like contact; clash, and clearance analysis. You will also represent the Concept Package at wider business forums, ensuring adherence to fundamental attributes and geometry. 📐

✅ Hybrid working is available, allowing for flexibility. Our client expects a presence on-site in Crewe approximately 1 day per week.
