Our client is a well-established company seeking a Finance Assistant to join their team. Working on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave, you will be responsible for a variety of duties including:

* Setting up and processing payments

* Processing sub-contractor invoices, setting up sub-contractors on to systems and verifying

* Processing invoices against orders

* Managing delivery notes

* Managing invoices for approval

* Monthly statement reconciliations

* Undertaking cheque runs

* Processing expenses claims

* Posting Nominal Ledger Journals as needed

* Providing cover / assisting with other accounts tasks as needed

You will need previous experience working within a similar role, and have good knowledge of Purchase Ledger duties. The company are looking for someone to work 21 hours per week, and this can be spread over 3 full days, or 4/5 shorter days, to suit the successful candidate. The contract is expected to run until August 2025
