Job Summary:

Talent Sure Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Finance Assistant to join their team. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team with various tasks, including invoicing, quote management, and credit control.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transactions: Accurately prepare, generate, and send client invoices on time, ensuring timely payment and minimizing outstanding balances.
  • Quote Preparation: Support the preparation and follow-up of quotes, ensuring all required documentation is in place, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Credit Management: Track outstanding invoices and proactively pursue overdue payments to ensure timely collection, maintaining a positive cash flow.
  • Accounts Reconciliation: Assist with reconciling accounts, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately, and identifying any discrepancies.
  • Data Management: Maintain up-to-date financial records and regularly update the accounting system with relevant data, ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Financial Analysis: Leverage Excel for financial analysis, including spreadsheet creation, formula use, and report generation, providing valuable insights to the finance team.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with various departments to resolve billing issues and provide support to the finance team when needed, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Reporting: Generate regular reports on debtors, outstanding invoices, and payment progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a finance assistant or credit control role.
  • Excel Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet management, formula use, and report generation.
  • Accounting Systems: Familiarity with accounting software is desirable.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy and attention to detail in all financial tasks.
  • Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Team Player: Collaborative approach with the ability to contribute positively within a team environment.
