As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance team with various tasks, including invoicing, quote management, credit control, and accounts reconciliation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Invoicing: Prepare, generate, and send client invoices on time, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Quote Management: Support the preparation and follow-up of quotes, ensuring all required documentation is in place.
- Credit Control: Track outstanding invoices and proactively pursue overdue payments to ensure timely collection.
- Accounts Reconciliation: Assist with reconciling accounts, ensuring financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Data Management: Maintain up-to-date financial records and regularly update the accounting system with relevant data.
- Excel Proficiency: Leverage Excel for financial analysis, including spreadsheet creation, formula use, and report generation.
- Collaboration: Liaise with various departments to resolve billing issues and provide support to the finance team when needed.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on debtors, outstanding invoices, and payment progress.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a finance assistant or credit control role.
- Excel Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including spreadsheet management, formula use, and report generation.
