Free ParkingOur client based in Cranleigh is looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator/Officer.

You will assist with the completion of the day-to-day administration of the group payroll process and to assist with the migration process of HR / payroll systems.

Duties will include:

Process payroll and pension data on a monthly basis to the outsourced payroll provider
Undertake methodical checking of payroll reports / data from the outsourced provider and assist with preparation of payroll reports and submissions
Supervise the detailed recording of staff absence
Input all other absence data for all staff into the relevant system ensuring meaningful data is added and provide reports on request
Liaise directly with staff to assist with any HR queries that relate to payroll/ pensions
Administration of attachment of earnings orders and loan agreements, carry out related communication with relevant employees and third parties
Ensuring that payroll related queries are investigated & resolved effectively
Ensure that all statutory requirements relating to payroll, HMRC, auto enrolment of pensions and all other pension schemes are done
Ensure compliance with pension legislation, deal with pension providers
Support your payroll colleague and HR Team in response to fluctuating workloads under the overall guidance and direction of the Director of HR & FinanceExperience required:

Experience with payroll
Good working knowledge of excel
Understanding of pensions would be a distinctive advantage
Demonstrate good team skills
