Senior/Lead Sales Development Representative

Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by developing relationships with potential clients in the pharmaceutical industry. This role requires a deep understanding of the biotech landscape and the ability to effectively utilize modern sales tools to reach and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and build relationships by identifying and communicating with prospects through a variety of channels (email, LinkedIn, phone).
  • Develop, execute, and iterate outbound sales campaigns based on ICP and the product.
  • Develop core messaging and communications documentation including outbound playbooks.
  • Expertly use CRM systems to track progress and report weekly results of all engagement activity with a focus on highlighting what works and iterating on what doesn’t.
  • Implement outreach strategies to meet quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Engage with sales training and workshops.
  • Work closely with medical and engineering teams to understand and communicate product value to prospective clients.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in English with a strong ability to write persuasive and compelling copy.
  • Growth mindset with a strong desire to continuously learn.
  • Proven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive, or similar role preferably selling technology solutions to pharmaceutical clients with a minimum of two years of experience.
  • Familiarity with the modern sales tool stack (e.g., CRM software, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io, Nethunt, apollo.io etc).
  • A strong passion for analytics and metrics to measure performance and impact, with a keen ability to adapt strategies based on results.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, coupled with the ability to build rapport easily.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A background in a scientific or healthcare-related discipline is highly desirable.
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with or in pharmaceutical companies, CROs, MedTech and pharmaceutical vendors.
  • A track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Familiarity with the drug development process.
