Hire Purpose is supporting an independent specialist college for young people with complex special educational needs as we secure a productive HR professional to join their team in a brand-new position, on a permanent basis. This is a hands-on role which provides a chance to shape the culture of a small, yet dedicated team within a values-led organisation as the headcount of pupils and staff continues to grow. Reporting directly to the Principal and sitting on the senior leadership team, we are looking for an individual who’s role will be dedicated to all things ‘people and process'. Responsibilities will range from managing policy implementation, updating compliance and checking and providing contracts, to assisting day to day with various queries and questions from staff. The college is seeking someone who brings both professionalism and empathy, with the confidence to work independently and colllaborate intimately within a close-knit leadership team. Please note, this is a part-time role at 0.7 FTE. The college would love someone on site each morning (8:30–12:30), though there’s flexibility to shape how your hours will be fulfilled.
