Senior Gallery Events Manager

Job SummaryWe have a unique and fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Gallery Events Manager.
Working with and deputising for the Head of Gallery Events, this role will take full responsibility for many events, including the Gallery’s exhibition opening events, events for Gallery’s Supporters, digital events and supporting the Patrons team with overseas trips, planning, and delivery from conception to conclusion to ensure their success. The successful candidate will have experience of adapting to change to ensure events meet objectives and engage supporters and guests in meaningful and creative ways.
This is an exciting time for the National Gallery, as we build the events programme and plan for our 200th anniversary in May. We are looking for an experienced and driven senior event’s manager with the ability to plan and organise high-level and logistically complex events in a unique and historic building. In addition, the successful applicant should have experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders including external contractors, individual supporters, cultural organisations, and colleagues at all levels.
