Our client partner is a multinational company operating in over 30 countries, specialising in EV chargers and high-voltage power inverters. To sustain and grow its presence in the UK and provide exceptional technical support, they are seeking new team members. The business aids around the clock, globally.

We are seeking Electrical Field Engineers to join office and site-based teams driving projects forwards.

The Role:

Ideal applicants will have skills in commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, calibration, monitoring, and repair of EV chargers. Successful candidates will have strong electrical aptitudes, hands-on skills, problem-solving abilities, flexibility, and travel availability. Knowledge of communications is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • - Set up and commission EV chargers at client sites.
  • - Diagnose and repair faults.
  • - Connect remotely to software systems.
  • - Maintain and troubleshoot communication infrastructure, networking hardware, IP devices, and IT systems.
  • - Complete and submit field reports.
  • - Conduct on-site system audits and evaluations.
  • - Identify and suggest corrective actions for potential technical issues.
  • - Provide diagnostic analysis, repair, and preventative maintenance.
  • - Handle physical installations, such as connections and wiring.
  • - Adhere to safety and training practices.
  • - Travel to client sites

Qualifications

  • Level 3 NVQ or UK Electrotechnical apprenticeship
  • 2391 Test & Inspection
  • 18th Edition
  • Qualified Electrician
