Premier Engineering is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our client’s team, covering the UK. Our client specializes in hydraulic machinery used in the aerospace, automotive, and agricultural sectors. They are looking for a dedicated professional to provide maintenance, repair, and support services to their customers nationwide.
The Field Service Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, specifically working with hydraulic machinery
Relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Hydraulics, or a related field (BEng, HND, NVQ, etc.)
Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and machinery used in the aerospace, automotive, and agricultural sectors
Ability to work independently and travel extensively across the UK
Strong communication and customer service skills
Full UK driving license
Proficiency with tools and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of hydraulic machinery
The Field Service Engineer role will involve:
Traveling to customer sites across the UK to perform maintenance and repair on hydraulic machinery
Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure machinery operates efficiently
Providing technical support and training to customers on the proper use and maintenance of hydraulic equipment
Completing service reports and documentation accurately and promptly
Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service and support
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
