Working for an award-winning logistics business who offer tailor-made, fast, reliable and cost-effective shipping solutions. Our client is seeking a Site Officer to assist the General Manager and Team Leader in maintaining the safety, security and integrity of the site.

The shift patterns are 4-on/4-off rotational 12-hour shifts (days and nights)

General duties to include:

  • Monitoring CCTV cameras, site patrols, controlling all entrance and exit barriers, keeping records of and monitoring all vehicles entering the site
  • Customer intervention where required
  • Parking of vehicles to ensure maximum utilisation of the truck park
  • Maintain safe environment for customers, visitors, and staff alike
  • Processing payments from all customers and the updating of computer records
  • Welcome customers and visitors to the site in accordance with company procedures
  • Any other task set by the truck park management or directors of the business

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience not essential but would be advantageous
  • A background within a site based/signalling/traffic marshal role would align nicely to this position
  • Alert and focused
