Pastoral Officer / Mainstream Secondary School / Tower Hamlets /ASAP Start -/ £90-120 per day As part of our work with Teach 360, we are assisting a mainstream secondary school in their search for a Pastoral Officer to join their behavioural team at the beginning of the new academic year. You need to have previous experience managing a team as well as working with young people who exhibit challenging behaviour if you want to be considered for this position. Pastoral Officer who has experience with working with young people who have challenging behaviour. Pastoral Officer Day rate £90-£120 a day depending on experience Pastoral Officer who has a passion for making a difference Pastoral Officer is needed for a full-time role, Monday - Friday Pastoral Officer who can work well as a team Would you consider yourself to be a Pastoral Support Officer who has excellent behaviour management skills? Would you be interested in working in a school setting where you would be able to assist young people who have social or emotional needs? Are you an experienced behaviour mentor who is interested in taking the next step in their career and becoming a pastoral officer? If so, we would like to hear from you. Is your behaviour management skills excellent and are you able to deescalate challenging situations when they arise? Would you consider yourself to be a good team leader? Have you managed a team before? What the role entails: Pastoral Officer - Tower Hamlets Pastoral Support Officers are responsible for setting appropriate boundaries for students with additional behavioural needs. Due to your expertise in these areas, you will assist other staff members in developing their skills. The provision of care to pupils, the assurance of their safety, and the resolution of any issues the pupils may experience Collaboration with other staff members, parents/guardians, and professionals Prepare letters and paperwork when needed Following GDPR & Safeguarding protocol A resilient and instinctive approach to meeting the needs of students Using behaviour management strategies effectively and working on your own initiative while adhering to policies and procedures is essential High level of flexibility and eager to work in different settings and with different approaches to engaging learners About the School: Pastoral Officer in Tower Hamlets In the heart of Tower Hamlets is this diverse secondary school.
