**Position**: Pastoral Support Officer
**Location**: Tower Hamlets, London
**Contract Type**: Full-Time

As a Pastoral Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of our students, supporting them through challenges, and contributing to a positive school culture.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students facing personal or behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop personalized support plans for students.
- Implement and monitor strategies to promote positive behavior and well-being among students.
- Conduct regular check-ins with identified students to assess progress and address concerns.
- Organize and facilitate workshops or group sessions on topics related to personal development and well-being.
- Act as a liaison between students, parents, and school staff to ensure effective communication and support networks.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a similar pastoral or student support role is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
- Knowledge of pastoral care strategies and techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive school environment.
