With 30 years of business operations, my client are a global leader in sporting goods, designing and manufacturing products for a number of outdoor sports categories. They are an innovative British brand with big ambitions and a growing Marketing team. We are partnering with them to recruit a Digital Marketing Manager, working hybrid from their offices in Poole, Dorset.

Your new role

As Digital Marketing & CRM Manager, you will be responsible for the ongoing traffic management of digital marketing activities on UK, EU and US websites. This hybrid role spans performance marketing via affiliates, paid social, PPC; all SEO activities, and existing first-party database growth and trading - including the conception and growth of email automation and segmentation. You will own and craft compelling ads at all stages of the marketing funnel, create campaigns that enable enhanced data capture, develop customer segments for more personalised targeting, manage the performance marketing agency, identify and implement new digital marketing streams, create reporting using GA and Shopify to enrich knowledge through data, and lead on the running of community-loyalty programmes - helping customers create compelling UGC and work it back into outreach ads.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be an experienced digital leader with extensive experience in digital marketing acquisition and retention strategy, who lives and breathes ROAS with the ability to adapt and evolve. You'll use your extensive experience managing external agencies and tools of the trade such as Shopify, Klaviyo, Dot Digital, flows, automations, Google marketing tools, as well as:

  • Digital Leadership Experience from strategy to people
  • Expert knowledge of consumer CRM and Email marketing strategies including automations or flows.
  • Experience in Shopify plus or very similar platforms
  • Very strong digital marketing knowledge from SEO to PPC and UGC to CRM
  • A D2C Pioneer with retail experience
  • Proven Experience leading on-site SEO initiatives ultimately building a strategy and reporting on success
  • Expert knowledge of Google Ads, merchant centre, GA4
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the business
  • Experience in content reporting including KPI measurement and CRO recommendations
  • Experience running A/B experiments
  • Expert knowledge of the marketing funnel and ad creative design for the right audience at the right stage

What you'll get in return

You will receive a salary of up to £48,000 plus benefits including company bonus scheme, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with service), pension scheme, and great product discounts. You will work in their vibrant offices in Poole, Dorset on a hybrid basis with some travel and weekend work required to attend industry events.
