A driven, entrepreneurial Senior Sales Executive – Telecom who has a passion for technology enabled change, driving revenue and transforming business. This role is responsible for driving go-to-market sales activities for new accounts for Telecom Sector in Germany and EU.
The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for driving new revenue with Tier1 and Tier2 Telecom operators in UK/Europe.
Candidate should exhibit strong sales aptitude and industry understanding by building relationships with current and prospective customers.
Understands key Telecom market trends, customer drivers and business outcomes of digital transformation and initiates relevant conversations for new logos.
Develops an understanding of the customer and the needs of each account and identifies opportunities to drive optimizations and new digital solutions/ideas based on their needs and strategies
Manages and executes a strategic plan for driving sales with customers
Outlines revenue targets to deliver on account plans; Effectively partners with hybrid teams internally
Work closely with team members to develop market intelligence, relationship maps, and use case opportunities through direct account engagement
5-10 years’ experience of sales within new accounts within the cloud and digital transformation domain.
~ Experience of selling IT Services into the Telecommunication sector
~ Outstanding oral and written communications skills with a talent for compelling storytelling and the innate ability to make the complex simple
~ Good understanding of digital transformation and competitors in the space
~ Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
~ Aptitude to manage numerous requests and time demands concurrently, while achieving production goals from assigned territory or set of accounts
~ Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills across a variety of channels (email, social media, phone, etc.).
