Are you passionate about transforming the HR industry with cutting-edge technology? 50skills is on the hunt for dynamic Business Development Representatives to spearhead our expansion in the UK. This role is a cornerstone in scaling our HR automation and productivity solutions, offering a blend of autonomy and teamwork in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Your Mission

As a Business Development Representative, you'll be instrumental in generating new business opportunities, crafting and executing outreach strategies and nurturing potential customer relationships. Working closely with our Icelandic team and the UK Head of Sales, your efforts will directly influence our growth trajectory by enhancing our outbound revenue funnel in the UK.

What You'll Do

  • Generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach, including calls, emails and social media.
  • Identify and engage key decision-makers within target companies, aligning with 50skills' Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).
  • Develop and maintain strategic outreach campaigns, leveraging digital prospecting tools like Apollo & Lemlist
  • Represent 50skills at UK industry events, expanding our network and business opportunities.
  • Accurately track client interactions in our CRM (Salesforce), ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.

Who You Are

  • 1-2 years in outbound sales or lead generation, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • A collaborative and results-driven professional, eager to contribute to a team while thriving independently.
  • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about SaaS products, with a keen interest in HR solutions.
  • Proficient with digital B2B prospecting tools (LinkedIn, Salesloft, Outreach, etc.).
  • Coachable, comfortable with change and eager to learn and adapt to new strategies for achieving results.
  • Previous experience working in a startup or high-growth company
  • Experience selling into HR would be beneficial, but not essential

Within 1 month, you'll have:

  • Immersed yourself in our culture and operational methodologies through our comprehensive onboarding program.
  • Mastered the core features and value propositions of our SaaS products during our sales and product training boot camp.
  • Launched your market engagement by identifying potential clients through market research, setting the stage for proactive outreach.

Within 3 months, you'll have:

  • Designed and executed a robust outreach strategy, including email campaigns, LinkedIn engagements, and cold-calling, with the goal of reaching a specified number of daily touchpoints.
  • Qualified leads and scheduled a targeted number of meetings monthly for our UK Head of Sales, laying the foundation for sales conversions.
  • Attended industry-centric events in the UK to network, represent 50skills, and create sales opportunities.
  • Maintained precise records of all client interactions in our CRM (Salesforce) to ensure data integrity for effective follow-ups and analysis.

Within 12 months, you'll have:

  • Closed, or helped our UK Sales team to close, a specific number of deals, making a direct impact on company revenue.
  • Continuously improved outreach strategies using response data, market feedback and teamwork with the sales department to boost engagement and conversions.
  • Mastered outreach in our new markets, expanding our presence and customer base.
