The Role

We are looking for someone to support our Content and Writing Team by taking ownership of editing and/or developing all existing Articulate eLearning content in our course library as well as other eLearning content which we will inherit from other business in the wider Citation Group over time.

Responsibilities:

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Using Office 365 suite to proficiently to carry out administrative tasks and collaborate with team members
  • Assisting our Product Manager and Head of Production with the strategy of eLearning for the wider group business
  • Managing projects independently and liaising with stakeholders in iHasco and other Citation Group companies we are serving
  • Working with the Production Development Assistant on the Bespoke content requests that we receive from clients
  • Evaluation methods supported by thorough testing leading to the launch and ‘go-live’ of modules of learning
  • Courses developed will need to meet quality standards including following legislative requirements
  • Design and develop engaging and effective learner-centred learning solutions from content provided by subject matter experts from Citation Group
  • Test and quality assure all eLearning products
  • Utilising AI content creation tools to support and streamline production

Skills and Competencies

Here are the necessary skills to be a good Content Author:

  • Previous experience in developing eLearning and other digital learning
  • Excellent knowledge of the Articulate 360 suite
  • Solid Office 365 skills
  • Good level of IT knowledge and ability to adapt to new software and systems
  • Comfortable managing your own time to meet deadlines
  • Confident and competent at working on your multiple projects independently
  • Highly organised with professional file management and workflow
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify errors in existing pieces of writing
  • A natural at collaborating and communicating with others
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Confident at sharing your ideas if you identify any processes that could use improvement

Desirable:

  • Experience of using Adobe Creative Suite
  • Customer service experience
  • Administrative experience
  • English Language A-level (or equivalent qualification)

Education

  • Degree Level Qualification or equivalent
