We are looking for an experienced candidate with a demonstratable background in Air Operations. Air Import Operator - The Role & Responsibilities

  • Reporting into the Air Operation Manager you will handle Air import shipments.
  • Liaising with overseas agents & airline handling agents arranging renoms, BI’s / handover invoices, T1 discharge, create records ensure customs clearance is completed, bond check, cass invoices.
  • Working closely with the warehouse and the Import customer service team and overseas offices.
  • Track and Trace shipments, milestone updates, archiving documents.
  • You will be communicating with a wide range of both external customers, agents as well as internal stakeholders, so strong and confident communication both verbal and written is a must.
Experience needed for this role
  • Ideal candidate will have previous experience in air freight operations
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of import
  • Previous experience of working with cargo wise would be advantageous.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, as well as a natural and strong communicator with the ability to problem solve and adapt.
