The role forms a vital part of the HR function, and the successful candidate will be the first point of call for all generalist HR expertise and advice across the organisation.You will partner with senior leaders to drive the people agenda and support the development and implementation of longer-term HR projects

Our client is always evolving and responding to the changing needs of their stakeholders and the People Partner will be adept at spotting opportunities and supporting local-level change that will have an organisational impact.

Key responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Working with the Group People Director to deliver the HR strategy that will enable the successful delivery of my client’s business strategy and objectives.
  • Provide coaching and advice to line managers on all people related issues.
  • Work with the Group People Director to foster a culture that supports employee engagement and retention
  • Help embed organisational culture change programmes, taking account of local requirements and tailoring solutions to meet their needs
  • Champion diversity and be the lead on Wellbeing initiatives
  • Ensure HR policies and processes are applied fairly and consistently across the business
  • Support with recruitment, from initial approval through to onboarding
  • Work collaboratively with other HR colleagues, such as L&D, to deliver an exceptional service

Person specification:

  • A pragmatic individual with an ability to work on their own initiative
  • A CIPD level 5 or above qualification
  • A high level of personal integrity, who displays respect and empathy for others.
  • Able to balance a reactive workload with medium-to-long term projects
  • An excellent generalist HR skillset
  • Data driven with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and people skills
