The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service would like to invite applications for a full time and a part time temporary post of Service Delivery Area (SDA) Business Support Assistant based within the East SDA team. Agile working is in place involving both home working and office-based attendance at Scottish Fire and Rescue Service East SDA Headquarters, Newbridge. The full-time post is working 35 hours per week until 30 June 2024 and the part time post is working 29 hours per week until 31 July 2024.
In respect of the full time post, applications from individuals seeking to work on a part time, job share or flexible working basis would be considered, whilst in respect of part time post working 29 hours per week, applications from individuals seeking to work on a flexible working basis would be considered.
Previous experience of working in an office environment using Microsoft Packages (particularly MS Word and Excel) and word processing experience i.e., typing letters/reports, is required.
Salary on appointment will normally be at the lower salary point, with progression subject to regular review - in line with the SFRS performance appraisal arrangements. A higher salary placing will be considered in exceptional circumstances subject to experience demonstrated.
