Operations Manager - City - Mon - Fri Office Hours - Up to £65k - Direct Route To Operations Director within 6 months
A fantastic opportunity for a multi site Restaurant Operations Manager / Area Manager to escape the Hospitality rat race and get into something where you can work Mon - Fri office hours but applying all of the skills you have acquired running busy restaurant / hotel businesses. We would also consider those currently in Operations roles in large scale, very high quality Hotel businesses.
Our client is a leading multi site luxury office provider in the Square Mile - think swanky boutique hotels with all the furnishings, fittings, finishes & a 5* guest service standard you would expect - but instead of rooms you have offices. The offices attract are smart, friendly City clientele - typically Hedge Funds, Investment Banks, Asset Management & City Recruitment Firms. Its a great working environment but standards & expectations are high so we are looking for those multi site Operations Managers that have a honed approach to incredible guest experiences.
The Operations Manager position will deputise the Operations Director with a view to the Operations Director stepping up into an MD role in the next 6 months whereby your role will be promoted into that of Operations Director.
This significant multi site group is going through a phase of hyper growth as they are on the acquisition trail.
We are especially keen to invite applications from proven Operations Manager candidates that feel ready for a move out of hospitality & into a corporate lifestyle but also into something exciting with true autonomy & a direct route into an Operations Director position.
Ideally you will have a minimum of at least 3 years multi site experience in a reputable, high quality high street restaurant group or upscale hotel group. You should be knocking on the door for a step up in responsibility from either Operations Manager to Regional Director or Operations Director.
This is an Operations Manager role that isn't going to be for everyone. It's aimed at an Operations Manager that is growing tired of the thankless corporate contingency and all of the daily tick box exercises and the paperwork that goes with it - or an Operations Manager who think their only two options are to either take on a more senior Regional Director role in their next move or get out of Hospitality altogether. It's for an Operations Manager who knows that there is a lot more to running a Restaurant business than just following ever stricter budgets & doing the same thing day in, day out. It's for those who want the term "my guests" to actually mean something. Perhaps most importantly it's for those in companies who don't want to lose the fire in their belly simply because their current company has got nothing else to offer them.
