The Opportunity

Business Development Representatives (BDRs) play a key role in our growth by producing qualified sales pipeline. MariaDB has a consistent track record of promoting BDRs, and we are looking for bilingual English / French speaking candidates who are excited about advancing their sales careers by revolutionizing the way data is stored and accessed.

Responsibilities

  • Build sales pipeline through inbound and outbound prospecting efforts, by generating qualified meetings and opportunities
  • Set up sales discovery calls with prospective clients and MariaDB Account Executives
  • Utilize and master the tools provided to you to help you be the best at your responsibilities. Salesforce, Zoominfo, Salesloft and others.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team on campaigns, messaging and lead feedback
  • Meet and exceed your monthly and quarterly goals

Qualifications

  • A relentless work ethic : You’re a hustler and committed to aggressively prospecting
  • A great attitude : You’re positive, coachable, adaptive to change and a great teammate; you take full ownership of your quota and monthly performance
  • Organization and quality: You are process-oriented and take pride in the quality of your work; your emails and presentations are polished
  • English & French language : Verbal and written fluency in both languages is required

Bonus Experience and Skills

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or sales
  • Previous experience as a BDR or relevant experience
  • You have previously successfully worked in a remote & distributed team

Location

London, UK (Hybrid role, 2 days per week in office)
