Business Development Executive

We are recruiting for a Business Development Executive for one of our clients who are based in Yorkshire. Our client is one of the UK's leading suppliers of workwear apparel. They have been recognised for innovation and excellence within service. They have built strong relationships across the UK, based on trust and reliability. As the Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in generating valuable client-related information to empower the sales team. This newly created position involves proactive outreach to prospective customers, aiming to spark interest, gather insights, and cultivate potential opportunities. You will manage your outreach through LinkedIn, email and the telephone. If you can demonstrate success within lead generation role and have a background in qualifying quality leads, are a confidant and professional communicator and are looking for a challenge this could be the role for you. Our client offers development and progression. This is a fully office-based role. Key Responsibilities: Identify and qualify quality leads. Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure prompt follow-up on leads, maintaining a list of high-potential opportunities. Tailor each outreach interaction to the individual prospect, demonstrating adaptability and genuine engagement. Develop effective outreach techniques, demonstrating persistence and resilience in overcoming objections. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and update CRM system with pertinent details. Cultivate a deep understanding of the market dynamics and industry influences over time. Collaborate cross-functionally with various internal departments to ensure seamless & Knowledge Requirements: Proven experience in sales or business development role. Tenacious mindset with a focus on achieving outcomes and exceeding targets. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. Commercial acumen, recognizing the broader impact of the role on sales success. Ability to thrive in a performance-driven environment, meeting and exceeding KPIs. Excellent communication skills, adept at proactive engagement and quick thinking during customer interactions. Proficiency in relevant computer programs (e.g., CRM software) and telephone systems.
