Principal Activities:

Ensure exceptional Standards of visual merchandising and presentation at the retailer's POS and in Hermes Stores & that merchandising is completed in line with Company Guidelines and standards.

  • Exceptional personal and team service levels, reflecting the company guidelines and a bespoke approach. Pro-active to feedback, acknowledging team success, addressing challenges, and creating a clear plan of action to improve results.
  • Grooming Guidelines are followed as per the company guidelines.
  • Operational processes, housekeeping and visual merchandising standards to be best in class, reflecting their importance as part of the customer experience. Plan and manage the trade tools, traffic stopping, GWP, Testers to maximise the sell- out performance and client's service. Organising POSM Audits and orders in line with your quotas and budgets. Reporting and feedback on the changes to the sales delegate and RBM
  • Assortment management for business performance (right product in the right locations for the right client / targeting destination). Define the minimum quantities needed per ref per store. Guarantee not to be Out of Stock with regular follow up.
Deliver the retail sales targets, and KPIs set out through strong leadership, leading by your own example, motivating your store team to promote Hermès products, implementing local service initiatives and marketing activity to engage customers.

  • Ensure delivery of retail sales targets and KPIs, coaching and developing the team through individual development plans, and providing consistent informal and formal feedback through daily conversations, team briefs, 1-2-1s, monthly catch ups and annual appraisals. Delivering strong productivity by headcount.
  • Share objectives, evaluate and animate the team and individuals to encourage strong sales performance.
  • Set and share targets with Promoters or animation team. Define incentives where applicable.
  • Consolidate and analyse all sales reports and complete the weekly sales reports & monthly reports and prepare Monthly trade reports and share best practices identified.
  • Prepare, implement, and monitor quarterly business plans in line with retail targets, marketing calendars and launches, including specific targets and activations for key launches.
Build and maintain strong relationships with your team's store management and partner retail colleagues to gain support, establish opportunities and achieve targets in line with company expectations.

  • Establish excellent relationships with the team, Retailer & Boutiques and all agency partners and local logistics team through frequent and qualitative and quantitative interactions.
  • Support the retail team with inventory and stock management.
  • Provide local trainings to retail team, promotional staff, and Boutique staff.
  • Communicate and drive a shared strategy, through marketing and local 360 action plans.
  • Ensure all team members attend regular trainings and their knowledge is updated regally using all the tools provided to them
  • Identify and take any opportunity to improve the organisation of our animations and ensure all Stakeholders have delivered on all animations activities and follow up on all performance need.
  • Manage the weekly schedule across multiple sites with the priorities based around the business needs and defined by the Sales Delegate and RBM.
  • Attend Retailer briefings and meeting's and ensure you analyse all travel retail tools and have a daily knowledge of customer traffic.
Implement monthly Schedules for the team according to the budget and to the seasonality of the business and working closely with the retail business partners.

  • Schedule planning with effective, collaborative management of staff members from partner agencies, utilizing all travel retail tools provided for the best optimization and in line with the budget provide. Taking into consideration seasonality and top destinations, monitoring of instore sales performance. Identify top performers and maintain strong relationships, ensuring a strong talent pool to support key trading periods.
  • Manage the weekly schedule across multiple sites with the priorities based around the business needs and defined by the Sales Delegate and RBM.
Key Competencies/Technical Skills

  • Experience in managing beauty consultants and teams.
  • At least 2 years' experience within a sales and retail environment.
  • Ability to lead by example and develop effective, strong performing teams.
  • Results driven and commercially articulate, delivering strong reports which track KPIs, productivity, trading conditions, demographic of customers, anecdotal feedback, retail activations, customer recruitment and business building initiatives.
  • Ability to be both proactive and reactive as required, with an agile mindset.
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills to gain support from partner retailers and team in delivering business plans and objectives.
  • Makeup and fragrance training preferred.
  • Strong communication skills - in person, digitally and remotely. Ability to define targets and goals with your team, articulate them and regularly review performance.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to flex to the changing business and market needs, with a positive and progressive approach.
  • Competent IT skills (Outlook and MS Office)
  • You will need to provide a full 5-year background check including proof of identity to obtain an Airport ID pass allowing you to work in the international departure's lounges in the airside areas.
