IT Support Analyst - Service Desk Engineer
Our Birmingham based client, one of the midlands premier employers, is currently looking for an IT Support Analyst to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line technical support ranging from straightforward queries to more complicated technical issues.
As an IT Support Analyst you will have a minimum of 12 months experience working in a similar role and a proven track record of working within an ITIL environment.
Some IT Support Analyst responsibilities include:
- Receiving, logging and managing calls from users, regarding IT issues and queries
- Management and resolution of incidents, problems and service requests reported to the IT Service Desk in line with defined SLA’s
- Incident Management : detection and recording, initial support, classification, investigation and diagnosis, resolution, recovery and closure
- Problem Management : detection and identification of problems, trend analysis and targeting, major incidents and management information.
- Fulfilment of Service Requests including execution of ad-hoc data extracts for Information Analysis
Some IT Support Analyst required skills include:
- Be experienced in working in a customer facing IT Support or IT Service Desk role (minimum 1 year)
- Demonstrable ITIL framework knowledge possessing the ITIL Foundation qualification
- Commercial focus and experience of SLA Management
- Strong knowledge of technologies such as; G Suite, SQL, Microsoft Office applications, HTML, JavaScript, Windows, IOS
- Hardware and software support experience: Microsoft and Apple Operating Systems, AD, Group Policy and Managed Desktops
