The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales will be a member ofthe sales team at WNS Lifesciences. This person will have the overallresponsibility of delivering recognized annual revenues in the rangeof $2.5-5.0 million by generating leads, assessing opportunities atthese prospects, creating pilots or diagnostics, and closingcontracts.

Expertise in closing large deals and huntingexperience is mandatory for the role.

SpecificResponsibilities:

  • Building a sales strategy for the UK andEuropean region and running the sales process accordingly.
  • Refining client segments in all possible areas such as MarketResearch, Business Research, Financial Research, Investment Research,Analytic Services, and Procurement Services.
  • Knowledge ofemerging trends and solutions related to Data Management, DataEngineering, and Data Science solutions
  • Thought leadership onnew age solutions and consultative approach to solve
  • Abilityto work with teams onshore, near shore, and offshore
  • Developand coordinate sales selling cycle and methodology with allconstituencies like marketing, operations, finance, etc.
  • Agree on sales quota for signed revenue and sales target forbilled revenue in line with knowledge services practices
  • Developing new accounts and opening avenues for newopportunities using personal Rolodex, WNS lead generation engines(website, lead generation unit), direct mailers, etc.
  • Sensitizing the management on the latest trends in theKnowledge services segment and ideating on developing new businesses,products, or service lines
  • Leading responses to RFIs, RFPs,and RFQs for UK & European clients
  • Conducting diagnostics andopportunity assessment studies along with experts
  • Managingclient visits and accompanying them to Indian Operation Centers as andwhen required.

Qualifications:

Successful track record of selling into new accounts

  • Awareness and knowledge of market trends andnew-age ML, AI, and Analytics solutions
  • Structuring new dealsand constructs
  • Market C-suite connects within a focusedindustry
  • Ability to work with global teams with diversebackgrounds
  • 10 to 15 years of salesexperience out of which at least a few years should have been in asenior capacity as a salesperson ideally with one of the following:
  • A UK/ Europe-based firm
  • A knowledge servicesoffshoring company with operations in India
  • A knowledgeservices outsourcing company
  • Any offshoring or outsourcingcompany.
  • A good Rolodex of contacts in various sectors due topast work experience in, the outsourcing or offshoring industry.
  • A track record of initiative, creativity, and motivation tosurpass challenging performance goals and sales targets.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, able to createand deliver convincing arguments
  • Entrepreneurial spirit andthe desire to lead sales in the analytics/ business or financialservices space in a high-growth company with operations in India
  • Ability to manage the sales process and forecast withprecision
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to build rapportand credibility quickly with an executive-level audience
  • Superior time management skills and strong attention todetail
  • A solid grounding in business concepts and dynamics
