Hotel Co 51 is seeking a results-oriented Group Sales Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our reservations department, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of Group Sales Executives while also contributing to the overall sales strategy.
This role combines leadership and individual sales responsibilities, requiring a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and a passion for driving revenue.
Team Leadership: Oversee a team of Group Sales Executives, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.

~ Sales Performance: Drive revenue growth by maximising group bookings across all segments and hotel brands.

~ Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective sales processes are in place, including lead management, proposal creation, and contract negotiation.

~ Client Relationship Management: Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of the group sales strategy.

Team Management:

~ Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the sales team.

~ Conduct performance reviews and set clear expectations.

~ Sales Performance:

~ Set and achieve sales targets for the team.

~ Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities.

~ Develop and implement sales strategies to increase market share.

~ Operational Management:

~ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group sales team.

~ Ensure adherence to sales processes and procedures.

~ Manage administrative tasks, including reporting and data analysis.

~ Client Relationship Management:

~ Negotiates with clients rates and converts group sales.

Proven experience in a sales leadership role within the hospitality industry.

~ Strong sales and negotiation skills.

~ Strong organisational and time management skills.

~ Proficiency in sales and CRM systems (e.g., Opera, Salesforce).
