Position & Context

You will be responsible for all VFX at Super Glitch Games. You must be ambitious in your career, passionate about games, and self-motivated to create high-quality dynamic VFX that communicates critical information to the player with a visual flare that aligns with the game’s aesthetic.

  • Full-time
  • On-site preferred; remote work possible.

Requirements

  • 5+ Years in VFX & Unreal Engine.
  • A thirst for knowledge and always learning.
  • Clear and professional communication.
  • Genuinely excited about web3 and its application to games.
  • Overlapping knowledge of complementary disciplines such as sound design, player feedback, and artistic direction.
  • Proven track record of creating stylized and player-driven VFX.

Responsibilities

  • Own all things VFX at Super Glitch Games.
  • Create all VFX for our multi-platform games.
  • Create dynamic VFX driven by physics and cosmetic variables.
  • Create VFX tooling and templates.
  • Ensure VFX are optimized and performant.
  • Identify opportunities where VFX can enhance the game’s quality.
  • Work closely with neighboring disciplines to ensure VFX works harmoniously with other content.
