MacGregor Black are partnering with a fast growing, independent UK brand in the search for a Merchandise Manager. This is a permanent role based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Develop and continually optimise a long-term product merchandising strategy to ensure business revenue targets are met and exceeded through the planning and managing of inventory levels.
Collaborate with the buying team and Product Director to build a balanced range in line with customer expectations that reflects the brand strategy, delivering the correct product mixes, price architecture and deliver the right product at the right quantity, to the right store, at the right time.
Evaluate sales predictions of performance and take appropriate measures in response to forecast changes to ensure maximum performance, profit margins and stock availability in depth / width.
Support the Buying team and Product Director in department category planning by season / drop across all regions.
Lead weekly stock sales and intake forecasts (WSSI) in season forecasting and markdown maintenance/promotion and strategies to achieve revenue and gross profit margins through performance reaction, risk management and best-selling potentials.
Plan and present budgets and sales forecasts for seasonal development and new ranges.
Be forever curious, seize opportunities, and drive strong growth through data driven narratives with strong and direct communication.

Proven experience as a Senior Merchandiser or Merchandising Manager within the fashion industry, preferably E-Commerce focused.
Advanced analytical and data driven mindset with impeccable numerate and excel skills.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and adapt to quick changes in market demands efficiently, whilst implementing and managing long term merchandising strategies.
Ability to strategize and plan independently, whilst leading a team and collaborating with wider senior managers across a singular business vision and strategy.
Commercial knowledge on the alternative marketplace and broader retail businesses.
