We have a new opportunity for a highly professional individual to lead as our Head of International Relations and Partnerships.

Working closely with colleagues, you will lead the development and delivery of a portfolio of Newcastle University’s global strategies and operations. You will provide leadership and expertise on international relations, partnerships and mobility that enable and contribute to the University’s aims for education, research, global profile and financial sustainability. In doing so, you will develop the University’s global profile and influence, build frameworks of coordination and support for Academic and Professional Service Units, and enhance international brand, profile and reputation. You will work closely with the Director of International Office and Deputy Director/Head of International Student Recruitment to maximise the impact and reach of International Office teams.

We are looking for an established leader who brings with them experience of developing, delivering and managing creative strategies and plans for partner engagement and relationship management. To be highly successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate others and to build a culture of strategic alignment, delivery and collaboration within and between teams.

We are happy to discuss blended and flexible working arrangements and can offer support for colleagues relocating to the North East for this role. We are pleased to advise this role does qualify for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Visa route. As a Grade A sponsor, we are able to provide sponsorship and will support with this process, where required.
