Overview:

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Continuous Improvement Manager to join an established engineering company with facilities in Gloucester, Cardiff and Poland.

This market leading company operates in a wide range of industries including aerospace, defence and automotive.

You will be responsible for supporting the Cardiff, Gloucester and Poland sites, ultimately responsible for business solutions to the root causes of company quality concerns (product, process and compliance).

Main responsibilities:

  • Implementation of the improvement strategy through innovative problem analysis, solution identification, change management and business transformation.
  • Devise, establish and maintain a robust continuous improvement culture that optimises business costs.
  • Constantly look at ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
  • Monitor performance by gathering relevant data, as well as produce statistical reports.
  • Provide support for field performance and reliability and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications, experience and skills:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an improvement culture.
  • Sound knowledge of improvement methodology.
  • Experience in a manufacturing/engineering company.
  • To be customer focussed (internally & externally).
  • An experienced communicator both verbal and written.
  • Strong, driven teamworking ethic with proven track record of delivering results.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation.
