As we expand, we are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as an Onboarding and Training Coordinator to work with our front-line staff, and external contractors, to ensure high-quality output including excellent customer service.

Position Overview:

As the Onboarding and Training Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our new hires are seamlessly integrated into the company and equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in their roles. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing both internal and external training programs, encompassing onboarding activities as well as ongoing development opportunities. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality learning experiences that support our employees' professional growth and contribute to our overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding programs for new employees, and new external contractors, including orientation sessions, training materials, and mentorship initiatives.

Coordinate logistics for onboarding activities, such as scheduling training sessions, arranging facility and technology access, and providing necessary resources and materials.

Collaborate with department managers and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop customised training plans and materials.

Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and other learning events, both in-person and virtually, ensuring engaging and effective delivery of content., for both internal employees and external contractors.

Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, and continuously iterate and improve based on results.

Serve as a point of contact for new hires, addressing questions, concerns, and providing ongoing support throughout the onboarding process.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to onboarding and training, and incorporate relevant insights into program development.

Key Experience, Knowledge & Skills Required:

Proven experience in onboarding, training, or talent development roles, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS), virtual training platforms, and other relevant technology tools.

Certification in training and development (e.g., CPTD, ATD) is a plus.
