Quality & Facilities Manager
Formed over 125 years ago in the city of Leeds, our client is renowned in the electrical engineering distribution industry for their high levels of service, support, and customer satisfaction. The Quality and Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality management and the smooth operational running of facilities, utilities, and vehicles within this well-established electrical business. This role demands a self-starting and pragmatic individual comfortable with multitasking in a fast-paced commercial environment. Your expertise in problem-solving and process improvement will be pivotal in enhancing efficiency across various business functions, serving as a central reference point for quality management and operational excellence.
ISO 9001 Quality Management: Lead Auditor or Equivalent Certification.
Ability to write and review risk assessments for diverse activities.
High proficiency in Excel / Word.
Working knowledge of plant and plant maintenance including boilers, BMS (Building Management Systems), and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning).
Awareness of automotive and FLT (Forklift Truck) vehicle maintenance, including maintenance schedules, etc.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 Quality Management standards.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage facilities, utilities, and vehicle maintenance effectively.
Maintain documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment.
Proficiency in relevant software applications.
