Scope of role:

  • We are seeking a dynamic individual to lead and manage a team of development managers, development executives and development coordinators at our London Office. In this role, you will provide support and assistance to the team throughout the development process to deliver digital advertising sites for our business.
  • Your responsibilities will include developing strategies to help the team achieve their goals and objectives, as well as collaborating with other departments to improve workflow processes for the successful delivery and ongoing management of advertising sites.
  • You will be accountable for ensuring the quality and approach of team members align with company expectations. And that advertising locations are delivered within designated parameters, on time and within budget.
  • Forecast the development pipeline to determine if the team will meet the targets set at the beginning of each financial year. Take necessary actions to address any deficiencies that may impact the achievement of these targets.
  • Regular reporting to the Development Director on the team’s progress will be required, and you will work closely with them to address any concerns or challenges by implementing feedback and taking appropriate action.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments and major events in the outdoor advertising industry to drive innovation and explore new ideas and options for the development team.
  • Keep track of any changes in legislation or industry practices that may impact the performance of the development team, particularly in areas such as planning, legal requirements, and construction.
  • Together with the Development Director, you will foster a culture within the team where individuals take ownership of their projects and take pride in their achievements. Additionally, you will provide training to new team members to support their success in their roles.
  • As a representative of Wildstone, you will contribute to internal and external events to showcase our position as the leading provider of outdoor media infrastructure within the industry.
Key skills and experience:
  • Strong understanding of the outdoor advertising industry, specifically in the development sector, demonstrated through previous experience.
  • Experience managing a team in a sales/development environment.
  • Knowledge and previous experience in property transactions.
  • Highly numerate and literate, with the ability to produce high-quality written reports.
  • Proactive and highly organized, with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond quickly to challenges.
  • Experience in effectively communicating with senior managers in a business environment.
