Job Description

Location: Camden, London

Reports to: Head of Ecommerce

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Ecommerce Executive to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our ecommerce website. This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless and effective online shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of ecommerce best practices, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in our online operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily running of the website, ensuring it is fully functional, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
  • Conduct regular site audits to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.
  • Ensure the website is regularly merchandised and product pages are maintained.
  • Collaborate with web developers and the graphic designer to implement necessary updates and enhancements.
  • Manage website launches ensuring product is uploaded in a timely manner, stock is accurate and all web content is delivered ahead of time.
  • Ensure all product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and optimised for search engines.
  • Coordinate with the marketing & merchandising teams to update and manage promotional pricing, content, banners, and landing pages.
  • Work with the social & marketing teams to ensure all shoot deliverables are outlined ready for launches.
  • Analyse website traffic, user behaviour, and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to the Head of Ecommerce.
  • Work with the customer service team to ensure the customer’s post purchase experience is optimised.
  • Assist with the implementation and optimisation of email flows.
  • Assist the Head of Ecommerce & marketing team with the execution of online marketing campaigns, including email marketing, affiliate marketing, SEO, and social media ads.
  • Work with the Head of Ecommerce to implement major updates and large projects working to strict deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an ecommerce role, ideally in the fashion industry.
  • Up to date experience with Shopify is a must.
  • Experience with Klaviyo is preferred.
  • Experience with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar etc).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience working with web development & digital marketing agencies is also preferred.
