Service CoordinatorMaintain excellent communication with customers, providing regular updates and reports for outstanding work. Provide parts quotes, process orders, upsell products. Attendance at meetings and exhibitions as required.Competency Requirements of the Service Coordinator:Educated to GCSE standard. High standard of literacy and numeracy.A self-motivated person with a professional manner and methodical work ethic. Experience in working in a service support role managing vehicle/operational equipment breakdowns, repair schedules and service engineer workload.Good communication skills.Current driving licence.KEY AREA:COMMUNICATION WITH THE CUSTOMER ADVISING ON REPAIRS, LEAD TIMES AND PROGRESS. DEVELOP RELATIONSHIP WITH CUSTOMERS TO IMPROVE AFTERSALES SERVICE AND SERVICE LEVELS.To maintain all service and warranty requirements for in service vehicles.Responsibilities of the service coordinator include, but are not restricted to, the following:* Processing of orders for all mobile service-related parts and labour* Processing of parts transaction through business system* Assistance with warranty provision* Assistance with mobile service offering relating to either mobile fitments, maintenance, or warranty requirements* Efficient planning and deployment of mobile teams/sub-contractors to facilitate customer requirements* Ensure that all stake holders are updated of the overall project plan for builds for mobile fitments (Sales Team)* Liaise with both the technical team and purchasing team around any significant product defects that should be escalated to the supplier* Administer with support from technical team warranty periods for customer vehicles* Maintain and record specific KPI’s relating to in life service* Maintain a professional manner at all times; punctuality and efficiency are essential* Provision of guidance and advice to customers on the purchase and installation of product* Attendance of customer meetings relating to vehicle in life issue’s* Any other ad hoc duties as required by the Head of Service
